It’s Tarte au Sucre! What better way to top off a holiday dinner than with a freshly-baked Sugar Pie for dessert! The filling for this pie features a sinfully delicious combination of sugar, cream, and butter – a combination that simply melts in your mouth from the first bite to the last. Although sugar pie is traditionally open-faced, ours features a Christmas tree shaped pastry garnish at the center and “pastry-leaves” on the edges for added holiday flair. We recommend pairing it with a cup of hot cocoa or apple cider to drink.

Note: This pie must be ordered at least 48 hours in advance of pick up at our Granville Island location.

Preserving Fresh Pies:

  • Pies can be left in the box in a cool, dry place for up to 6 hours or refrigerated for up to three days.
  • Pies wrapped in plastic wrap and foil inside a freezer bag can be frozen for up to two months.
  • If you have an event that you are planning for, you can order the pies ahead of time and store them safely in your freezer. The pie can be baked up as if freshly made.
