Decorated Tourtiere Pie (French Canadian Meat Pie)
Tourtiere pie (Tourtiere du Lac-Saint-Jean) has been a Quebec tradition for generations. Made with only AAA ground beef, the finest ground pork, and the freshest seasoning, and this pie is with holiday themed decorated edition, this pie's taste and elegance will surely be a hit at your next holiday dinner!
Note: This tart must be ordered min. 48 hours in advance of pick up at our Granville Island location.
- For Fresh Raw Pies with top crust: Bake at 420 degrees for 10 minutes first and then at 375 degrees for another 40 minutes or until golden brown
- For Frozen Raw Pies with top crust: Bake from Frozen, Bake at 420 degrees for 10 minutes and then at 375 degrees for another 50 to 60 minutes or until golden brown
- For Baked Pies & Quiches: Wrap the entire pie in aluminum foil and bake at 250 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until the middle of the pie is warm and the top crust is crispy.
