Vegan Gluten Friendly Apple Pie
A Pie-lovers staple, this apple pie is made from a traditional recipe and oozing with flavor. We use fresh cut Golden Delicious and Granny Smith Apples coated in vegan butter and cinnamon and load in our home made vegan gluten free pie shell then baked in our oven to perfection, or for you to take & bake at home.
To order this whole pie ordered online requires min. 36 hours in advance. Pickup at our Granville Island location. Or free delivery in Vancouver area for orders $80+ on Tuesday, Friday & Sunday afternoons.
Baking & warming instructions:
>For fresh unbaked whole pie: Bake at 425F for 10 minutes then turn down to 350F and bake for 40~50 minutes. Cool it down for 15 minutes for serving.
>For fresh unbaked individual pie: Bake at 425F for 10 minutes then turn down to 350F and bake for 30~40 minutes. Cool it down for 15 minutes for serving.
>Warming Instructions for the baked pie: Bake at 250F for 20 minutes.
Preserving Fresh Pies:
- Pies without cream can be left in the box in a cool, dry place for up to one day or refrigerated for up to four days.
- Pies wrapped in plastic wrap and foil inside a freezer bag can be frozen for up to three months
