Raspberry Rhubarb Pie (V)
A nostalgic trip back to my countryside childhood, this is the pie of sentimental dreams. It features the perfect blend of juicy raspberries and rhubarb layered between flaky pie pastry. Sweet yet tangy, it is one of our most popular pies. Add some vanilla ice cream for the perfect flavour-combo, or even some whipped cream, if that's more your jam.
Note: This pie needs to be ordered at least 24 hours in advance. It can be picked up at our Granville Island location.
- Bake at 420 degrees for 10 minutes first and then at 375 degrees for another 40 minutes or until golden brown. Set for 20 minutes before serving.
- Bake at 250 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until the middle of the pie is warm and the top crust is crispy.
