Tortiere Pie-rate Skull (Halloween Meat Loaf Pie)

A great treat to spook you and your friends! Tourtiere pie (Tourtiere du Lac-Saint-Jean) has been a Quebec tradition for generations. Made with AAA ground beef, the finest ground pork, and the freshest seasoning, this skull-shaped pie will surely be a hit at your Halloween dinner! Either a fresh flower or pastry flower is included.

These pies need to be pre-ordered at least 48 hours in advance. Available for pickups during Oct. 24~ Oct. 31 at our location on Granville Island. 

Baking Instructions:

  • For Fresh Raw Pies with top crust: Bake at 420 degrees for 10 minutes first and then at 375 degrees for another 40 minutes or until golden brown
  • For Frozen Raw Pies with top crust: Bake from Frozen, Bake at 420 degrees for 10 minutes and then at 375 degrees for another 50 to 60 minutes or until golden brown

Reheating Instructions:

  • Reheat the baked pie at 250 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until the middle of the pie is warm and the top crust is crispy.
